Funded Training

Aspen Wolf are specialists in delivering apprenticeships to staff as part of development programmes, we can also support in the recruitment of new apprentices within the business by working with our recruitment department.

We are able to work with levy and non-levy paying employers to support their apprenticeship training needs alongside a main provider. Due to our strong quality process and sector knowledge Aspen Wolf are a supporting provider on the Register of Training Providers, https://www.gov.uk/guidance/register-of-apprenticeship-training-providers.

The apprenticeship route can be used for;

  • Recruiting and training new staff
  • Upskilling current staff

We offer an inclusive learning experience to all of your staff by carrying out full inductions to get to know them, their role within the business and to identify areas of development. To create rapport and a supportive relationship we aim to spend time with the managerial team to understand areas of strength and weakness within each department.

The information our assessment team gather will be used to develop a strong learning package that will be holistic and meets the business’s needs, within our current relationships this includes;

  • Regular training workshops (frequency will be agreed with you)
  • Promoting independent learning
  • Incorporating company policies, procedures and practice
  • Mentoring in the workplace
  • Monthly updates of training progress sent to the supervisors

How it will the learner be assessed?

  • Workshops to build on existing new skills
  • Assignments
  • Work products
  • Workbooks which will complement the learning and help you work independently
  • Observation of your practice
  • Discussions
  • Question & Answer

All visits will be carried out in the workplace during operational hours, workshops will be designed and agreed with the managerial department and will also be delivered on your premises. However, we also have a fully operational training room if you would like training to be carried out off-site.

All learners will be required to carry out independent learning, after each visit they will be set an action plan which will include 1 assignment/ task to be completed for forthcoming visit and we expect full cooperation on this. Aspen Wolf understand that work/ home life can create a barrier and we will encourage open communication to provide support where possible.
